Updated NAMI.org Webpages and Links Fact Sheet - 10/22 edition

Here is the newly updated NAMI.org Webpages and Links Fact Sheet. 



NAMI.ORG WEBPAGES/LINKS
Note:  NAMI website works best with Mozilla Firefox and Chrome.  If using Internet Explorer be sure to click Compatibility View by clicking on Tools in the Windows Tool Bar and then the Compatibility View option.
To Access a Program Intranet:
·        www.nami.org
·        click Become a Member on the link at the top right of the home page
·        Follow the instructions to obtain a NAMI user name and password.
·        Give this information to your affiliate’s education coordinator, who will enter you into NAMI 360.
·        When notified go to www.nami.org
·        Log in
·        Right-hand side of the page see MyLinks and the Intranet list of program(s) you participate in.
·        Click on the program link (The Family to Family link enables access to Family Support and Basics also)
·       Note: In order to access nearly all the websites and links below you need to have access to a NAMI intranet

Ordering Curriculum and Brochures:

Create an Account with NAMI Store
·        www.nami.org
·        Log in
·        Click on NAMI Store link on the left.
·        Put in username and password and click on Create Account
·        Fill out form. The member authorization code is NAMI in all caps
·        Mark that you are a member

Ordering Curriculum
1.      www.nami.org
2.      Log in
3.      Click on NAMI Store link on the left.  (See your affiliate education coordinator if you wish for a manual to be ordered.  Teachers cannot order curriculum)
4.      You will see a second login page asking for a user name and password.  If you created an account with the store, click on login.  Otherwise, to create an account, click on continue
5.      Click on Education link on the left.
6.      Click on the icon of the program you are interested in.
7.      Click the icon for manuals
8.      Click icon for manual download. Put in authorization key code obtained from the NAMI California Program Coordinator.
9.      Click Next Step at bottom
10.  Click the blue download button. When the file downloads right click and choose save as to save the file to your computer. If you wish a hard copy, then select the appropriate choice.  When you enter in the authorization code you will be given the price. 
11.  Click Add to Cart and proceed to checkout or continue shopping.


Ordering Brochures
·        Follow steps 1-6 above.
·        Click icon for desired brochure, pamphlet, flier etc.
·        Click Next Step link at the bottom of the page.
·        Enter quantity and check box if a NAMI member
·        Click update tab and the price is displayed
·        Click Add to Cart and proceed to checkout or continue shopping.

F2F Teachers, Support Group Facilitator Trainers: Re – Certification
·        www.nami.org/eduhelpdesk
·        Under NAMI Signature Program Intranets (in red)  click the desired program link
·        The re-orientation link is at the top of page.
·        This re-certification applies only to teachers and FSG trainers who weren’t trained using 2013 manuals.

You can also access through the www.nami.org/eduhelpdesk  webpage:
·        Click on the Family Support Group Link
·        Click on Program Documents and Other Resources link. 
·        Under facilitator resources there are links for the updated charts and Problem Solving video (required viewing for all FSG graduates from April 2013 forward, and recommended viewing for F2F teachers)

Reporting
·        www.Nami.org/programdata - select the your program
·        You may also access the reporting page via this link:
·        www.nami.org/eduhelpdesk (note also video tutorials available)
·        Under Quick Links (in red) click on Report Program Data
·        Select the program link
·        Window opens: education@nami.org
·        Type in the word  - nami
·        If the window reopens, click on other user, and re-enter the same wording.
·        Enter data at the end of a F2F course or for every support group meeting.
·        If the data won’t submit, click on Tools on the top Windows tool bar, then click on Compatibility View.  You should be able to submit the data then.

Reporting:  No Computer
·        Please ask your coordinator if he/she can record the data online.  If not:
·        Please fax 916-567-1757 or mail* info for EACH meeting (support group) or the completed F2F/Basics course:
·        Names of Facilitators/Teachers
·        City held and Affiliate name
·        How many attended
·        *see NAMI California office address at the end of this fact sheet
If at all possible, please try to report data electronically.

·        www.nami.org/eduhelpdesk
·        Under NAMI Education Program Documents (in red) see link for recorded webinars/conference calls
·        Live calls are advertised to all affiliate coordinators up to three weeks before the date.

If your affiliate is holding its own training, click on Report a State Training

Advertising your Class/Support group on the NAMI.org Website: (For Affiliate Education Coordinators)
You need to have Education Access to NAMI 360 in order to post classes on the NAMI National website.  Please see below for instructions:
Send your request to Lynn@namica.org with the following information:
·        your full name:
·        address:
·        phone number:
·        email address:
·        NAMI State: California
·        Your Local NAMI Affiliate:
·        nami.org username: (If you don’t have one please see the first entry of this fact sheet)

After you have been added you will do the following:
·        Go to www.nami.org
·        Log in using your nami.org account info
·        It will bring you to your home page
·        Scroll to bottom and click on NAMI State Organization and NAMI Affiliate Management
·        (It is right above where the blue shaded area is listing multiple links)
·        Next, click State/Affiliate Profile link on the left or (also in the middle of the screen with a logo)
·        Click Add NAMI Education Programs – small blue link on bottom right of page
·        Add your class or support group information.
