website which contains information about all of our education programs offered
in NAMI California. Affiliates must log in to access this site, which
also contains applications for each of our program trainings, and other
relevant information. Each affiliate has been assigned their own code in
order to access this restricted section of the website. The code should
be used by only designated people within the affiliate, such as a
coordinator. If you need the code, please contact Stephenie Gardella or

Spanish Family to Family Training
Announcing our First Family Programs Training of the Year!
We will be having a Spanish Family
to Family (de Familia a Familia) teacher training on October 24-26th
in Sacramento, California. This training
is open to those who are current members of their local NAMI affiliate and
preferably have completed the 12 week Family to Family class. Please contact your local affiliate to be a

If you have any questions on when and where classes or
groups are closest to you, you can find your local NAMI Affiliate by
clicking here.
If you are requesting intranet access as a
coordinator/facilitator/teacher/mentor, please make sure that you have sent us
your nami.org username and the email address associated with your nami.org
account, along with the program you are requesting access for! Please do not
send us your password.
If you are a teacher/mentor/facilitator that is having some
problem reporting data, please check out the visual instructions on the Education Help Desk! The
instructions are located under the "Quick Links" section. Just
a reminder that the username/password to report data is not your nami.org
account information. You will find the username/password in the visual
instructions.
For NAMI Family-to-Family teachers only: If
you are looking to complete your Re-orientation, the instructions below include
links to the re-orientation materials that do not require you to log in to
nami.org. Although we will not be able to reply to follow-up emails
until Thursday, these links should work for everyone. Please
feel free to share these instructions with other teachers who need to complete
their Re-orientation today. Thank you for your hard work.

schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression; issues affecting children,

(such as mental health parity); and more.

Referrals. Callers
are referred to NAMI State Organizations, NAMI Affiliates and support groups
throughout the country and to other organizations serving the needs of those
affected by serious mental illness.

Support. Trained
volunteers—- consumers and family members -— are in a unique
position to offer support and empathy from people who know what it's
like and who have "been there."
