Hold a Family Support Group Refresher this Summer!

Does your affiliate have NAMI support group facilitators who have been volunteering for more than a year?  How about new facilitators?  NAMI Family Programs encourages affiliates to hold a refresher seminar for your volunteers! Here is an example of an agenda below used by NAMI Antelope Valley:

9 – 10:00 AM	Barriers –Questionnaire
10  – 10:30 AM	Introduction of Lecture & Power Point
10:30 – 10:45 AM	BREAK
10:30 – 11:30 AM	Demonstration of the Model
11:30 – 11:45 AM	Discussion  & Feedback
11:45 AM  – 12:45 PM	LUNCH
12:45 PM –	The 5 Strategies & role Plays how they relate to AID US -Guide
	Structure 1- Agenda  & Enforcing 2 minutes time limit
