Spanish Resources for your F2F Classes

For your resource tables and information you can share with your attendees:

There's a lot of info in Spanish at NAMI's Multicultural Action Center.  Go to:  http://www.nami.org/Template.cfm?section=multicultural_support
At this site, click on the Resource Section and that takes you to resources for a variety of ethnic communities.  I've been able to create a fairly nice-sized notebook of fact sheets in Spanish by accessing this site.

Here's a link to the SAMSHA Store for ordering items in Spanish that are free for the most part.:  http://store.samhsa.gov/espanol.

Susan Gregg Schroeder has some really good materials at her Mental Health Ministries website.  This is a link to one section of that website which has some brochures in Spanish:

"I Am Not Sick; I Don't Need Help" by Xavier Amador and "When Someone You Love Has A Mental Illness" by Rebecca Woolis are both available in Spanish.  You can order the books in bulk and get a good discount if they know it's for NAMI.  I understand "Surviving Schizophrenia" by E. Fuller Torrey is also in Spanish.
