NAMI 360 and Education Access - urgent request to all affiliates

Important Information Regarding NAMI 360

We will soon be needing all NAMI education coordinators to have education access to NAMI 360.  This will enable you to
·       add classes online, and also
·       add all your teachers so they will be able to access the intranet (soon to be called extranet) and be able to download information from the www.nami.org/eduhelpdesk  website.  Even if your teachers now have access to the intranet, when NAMI switches completely to the new system, they will no longer have this access unless they’ve been added to the 360 network.

This is what I need from all education coordinators:
To access NAMI 360

1.     your full name
2.     address:
3.     phone number:
4.     email address:
5.     NAMI State: California
6.     Organization/NAMI Affiliate: NAMI
7.     nami.org username:

If you can send me this information, then I will let NAMI National know you have been approved for education access.
The following education coordinators/NAMI presidents are currently registered for education access.
M. W-S – Alameda
L.T. – Coachella Valley
LT.M. – San Diego
D.A. – San Gabriel
S.R.- Solano
A.G. – Santa Barbara
J. S. – W. Riverside
K.T. – Amador
M.N. – No. Coastal
C.N. and R.B. – Ventura
If you aren’t on this list, please send me your info today and I’ll send the information to NAMI National to have you registered.
Since NAMI California has hundreds of F2F teachers (known as education leaders when entering the info on 360) it is best if each affiliate NAMI education coordinator enters their own affiliate’s teachers.

If you go to the www.nami.org/eduhelpdesk you can listen to a recorded call dated July 2014.
(There is a webinar dated in February, but no audio is available for it.)

Attached is information on how to enter your teachers once you’ve been entered into 360 by NAMI.

1. Log into NAMI.org
2. At the base of your home page click on link that says NAMI State Organization and NAMI Affiliate Management

In order for you to enter the teacher as an education leader they must first be entered as an individual.  Check with your local affiliate to see if they have been entered into the system already, since if they are NAMI members (and teacher/facilitators should be) they would be in the system.
3. Click on link on the lefthand side of the page that says Education leader
4. At the top of the next page it says Add Education Leader
5. Follow instructions for entering your teacher or support group facilitator.  Note that you will need to enter your person separately for each volunteer capacity, i.e. if he/she is  a Family to Family and Basics teacher, that person will need to be entered separately for each program.

One other important detail: You can check to see if someone is already in the system by clicking on the Search Query link also to the left on the home page.  You need only enter in his/her name, city, and state.

There is a 360 Help Icon on every page.

If you/your affiliate are in a situation that will make it difficult for you to have this done, please let me know.   Thanks again!
