Congratulations
to NAMI Santa Clara who will be receiving the
NAMI Family-to-Family Leadership
Award! They will be receiving the award during the NAMI National Convention
in September.
NAMI Santa Clara County was selected for this
award in recognition of its ongoing commitment not only to the NAMI
Family-to-Family Program, but to ensuring that it is also available to those
who need the information in Chinese. Congratulations are personally
extended to Dr. Jen Hong for his dedication to this process. The Chinese
translation has been one of the few translations personally approved by program
author Dr. Joyce Burland. NAMI Santa
Clara’s commitment to translate the 2014 revisions in a thoughtful manner is
much appreciated as was their willingness to share their efforts and expertise
with others.
